The city preserves intact in its historic center a truly incredible architectural complex where all the buildings that were once necessary for the public life of the village are gathered.<\/p>\n

The heart of Massa Marittima is precisely Piazza del Duomo <\/strong> overlooked by the Cathedral of San Cerbone <\/strong>, the Palazzo Comunale <\/strong>, the Palazzo del Podest\u00e0 <\/strong> and the Loggia del Mercato <\/strong>. A short distance away are the Mint and the Public Source.<\/p>\n

The square is located at the highest point in the town. From here the view sweeps over the surrounding hills to the sea of ??the so-called Costa degli Etruschi <\/strong> and, on clear days, even beyond reaching the islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. To get to the top it is necessary to climb along narrow and steep stone paved streets <\/strong>, very suggestive.<\/p>\n
